DAVID ‘CHEF’ WALLACH
Director of CrossFit /Sports Nutrition Specialist /Personal Trainer /Kettlebell Instructor
David Wallach

My whole life has been food and fitness. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified CrossFit Trainer, CrossFit Kettle Bell Instructor, Dietician, Master Chef in the US and EU and among the happiest food science and functional fitness nerds around. I have been fortunate enough to teach Sports Nutrition, train trainers and clients and spread the gospel of Functional Fitness on three continents. I get to play with my food and hang out with athletes: I’m a kid in a candy store!

In 2005, after a life of competitively lifting the heaviest things I could find and downhill and cross-country mountain biking, I stumbled across an article about this maverick Gregg Glassman and his ‘CrossFit’ training program that was creating champions out in Santa Cruz. I was DEEPLY skeptical of the idea that supra-fitness and maximal health could be achieved with such short and intense workouts. No hours of cardio? No hours of specialized weight training? The first CrossFit workout taught me I was, even with all my training and cardio, a LONG way from ‘fit’. I was hooked and willing to give this plan of natural movements at high intensity three months of dedication to see what could be achieved.

I was SHOCKED by the results. I am now fitter, faster, leaner and stronger at 44 years old than I was as a 25-year-old athlete, all while training in less than half the time per week that I had for years! Every client I have trained using ‘CrossFit’ has found a new level of achievement and results and has raised the bar of their own expectations. There is no greater joy for a Coach than to see his athletes surpass their old ‘impossibles’ and have the phrase ‘I can’t’ permanently removed from their lives.
